Black Portoro Plinth
Description
The Portoro Gold Scagliola pattern rectangular plinth was chosen to emulate the striking columns used in The House of Representatives of the United States Congress. When you consider how marble is formed, recreating that movement in Scagliola is a challenging process. The results however are stunning. This pattern is unusual as it runs in parallel lines punctuated by the white background vein set off by the white skirting at the base and polished to a high shine.
